Justin Gaethje dished out punishment for five rounds to win the UFC 249 main event and the interim lightweight belt. After battering Tony Ferguson with punches and leg kicks, referee Herb Dean finally stopped the fight. A big left hand that staggered Ferguson wound up being the last straw.
