By the Numbers: UFC Fight Night 241

Lerone Murphy passed his most significant test to date in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and kept his unbeaten record intact in the process.

The Manchester, England, native authored a dominant performance against Edson Barboza in the UFC Fight Night 241 headliner, taking a unanimous decision triumph at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. While Barboza had momentary flashes — most notably a damaging upkick at the end of Round 1 — it was largely Murphy imposing his will through boxing, close quarters elbows and occasional takedowns. With that, “The Iceman” has officially announced his presence as a contender in the featherweight division.
