This marks the fifth main event for Barboza (24-11), who has gone 1-3 in prior outings. However, the Brazilian is on a winning streak after knocking out Billy Quarantillo with a devastating knee and winning a clear decision over Sodiq Yusuff. The 38-year-old looks to go on one final run and came in at 145.5 pounds.
Meanwhile, this is the first headlining fight for "The Miracle." Murphy (13-0-1) is undefeated inside the Octagon and has won five straight fights since debuting with a split draw against Zubaira Tukhugov. Since then, the English fighter has picked up key wins over Joshua Culibao, Gabriel Santos and his own vicious knee KO of Makwan Amirkhani. The 32-year-old stepped on the scale weighing 146 pounds on the dot.
UFC Fight Night 241 will air in its entirety on ESPN+ on Saturday. Prelims begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, while the main card starts at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
