In his hometown of Huntington Beach, Calif., Jeff was surrounded by the burgeoning mid-90’s Southern California MMA scene. In 1996, during a stint of employment at Boeing, his love of the sport led him to found what is now the world’s largest MMA site, Sherdog.com. In a time where the sport was unavailable on domestic television, Jeff traded VHS tapes, released highlight videos, traveled the world to cover events, and setup one of the first online stores that offered strictly MMA merchandise. Jeff currently resides in Lemoore, Calif., with his two daughters, his son and his life partner Lori. He is an avid sports fan who loves the Dallas Cowboys and Dodger baseball.
