BKB 3 Weigh-in Results: Main Event Fighters, Mosley Jr. All on Weight

The anticipated third event for Big Knockout Boxing has been made official earlier Friday as each fighter on the marquee made weight. To be held inside the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and being televised via pay-per-view, BKB 3 is expected to be another exciting night of fast-paced boxing action.

With Tyrone Spong having to pull out a few days ago due to an injury in training, tough guy Rodney Hernandez thankfully stepped up and accepted the challenge of fighting Julian Pollard for the BKB heavyweight crown. With neither man needing to shed any real weight, it was a no-brainer that they’d “make weight.” Pollard tipped the scale at 242 pounds where his opponent was heavier at 254.

Long-time boxing veteran and former world champion Jesus Soto Karass weighed in at 149.5 pound for his fight against Adrian Grandaos, who clocked in at an even 150. Shane Mosley Jr., the son of the future Hall of Famer with the same name, officially weighed 159 pounds. His middleweight opponent, Jason Kelly, was slightly bigger at 160.5 pounds.
