Undefeated featherweight world champion Leo Santa Cruz will bring his brawling style to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on July 30 when he locks horns with Carl Frampton.

Santa Cruz (32-0-1, 18 KOs) has become a favorite among boxing fans with his whirlwind attacking style inside the ring. The Mexican, who already captured the IBF bantamweight and WBC super bantamweight titles, will put his featherweight belt on the line against the unbeaten Brit.

“Frampton is a good fighter. He has power and skills and he moves when he has to, but he has a weak chin,” Santa Cruz stated in a release. “When he gets caught with a good punch, he goes down. He doesn’t like pressure and I have that. I'm looking forward to putting on an exciting show at Barclays Center and I hope I leave with lots of new fans.”

Frampton (22-0, 14 KOs) holds the WBA and IBF super bantamweight titles and is coming off the biggest win of his career in February, when he edged Scott Quigg via split decision.

“I am in terrific shape, I feel fantastic in the gym and I am ready for the biggest fight of my career,” said Frampton. “On July 30 I will become a two weight world champion. I respect Leo Santa Cruz, he is a great fighter and person, but I am preparing meticulously to overcome any challenge he brings on July 30.”

Amanda Serrano (28-1-1, 21 KOs) will put her WBO women’s featherweight title on the line against Calixta Silgado (14-6-3, 9 KOs) in one of the main card battles while newly-crowned WBA middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (31-1, 28 KOs) will defend his crown against an opponent yet to be determined.

Showtime will televise the action beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
