Glory announced today that its main event of the Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard on July 14 has some added pizzazz. Saulo Cavalari will take on Pavel Zhuravlev for the interim light heavyweight title, with the winner set to face reigning champ Artem Vakhitov later in the year.
Rounding out the Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard is a middleweight bout between Ariel Sepulveda and Joe Taylor; a featherweight scrap featuring Mo Abdurahman and Chenchen Li; Itay Gershon will collide with Rafal Dudek at lightweight; Anissa Meksen will take on Jady Menezes at super bantamweight; and Arthur Sorsor will face Road to Glory UK tournament champ Bailey Sugden.
The Glory 43: New York main card is slated to be co-headlined by Elvis Gashi against Josh Jauncey. The pair will collide in the event’s co-feature while a four-man one-night featherweight contender tournament will anchor the event. Matt Embree will face Kevin Vannostrand and Giga Chikadze will oppose Aleksei Ulianov, with the two winners meeting in the finals after heavyweights Benjamin Adegbuyi and Guto Inocente handle their business.
The Glory 43 SuperFight Series undercard will stream live from The Theater at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The Glory 43: New York main card, which is slated to be anchored largely by a four-man one-night featherweight contender tournament, will stream live on ESPN3 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
