Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by Fox Sports MMA writer Damon Martin.

Breen and Martin discuss MMA icon Wanderlei Silva's most recent antagonism of UFC boss Dana White and “The Axe Murderer” branding himself a “slave.” The two reflect on Silva's career, what he has in historical common with Royce Gracie, whether it would be a net positive for the UFC to release the storied Brazilian at this point in time and whether or not the summer's Silva-Chael Sonnen-Vitor Belfort disaster is the most important MMA story this year.

The duo also detail another form of Zuffa contract limbo, reflecting on Anthony Johnson, when he might return to action and whether or not the UFC need to establish an office strictly to preside over background checks and the extra-legal punishment of its contracted fighters.
