Eddie Alvarez Doesn’t See Contract Negotiations Getting Ugly
Free agent Eddie Alvarez, on “Beatdown,” discussing his relationship with Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney and whether upcoming contract negotiations could turn ugly:
“I have a different relationship with Bjorn Rebney than the fighter-promoter relationship. He’s always been pretty straight up with me and I’ve always been pretty straight up with him. Everything I’ve said -- besides losing to Mike Chandler -- everything I’ve said that I was going to do, I’ve done for him and he did the same for me. I don’t see it getting ugly.”
