Chad Mendes is the only man who has twice challenged Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title. While the Team Alpha Male stud has come up short in both of his bids for featherweight gold, Mendes has produced some impressive finishes in his other Octagon outings, including this knockout of the famously durable Clay Guida at UFC 164.

Mendes headlines next weekend’s UFC Fight Night, taking on fellow contender Ricardo Lamas on April 4 in Fairfax, Va. Guida will also be featured on the card in a matchup with hard-hitting Robbie Peralta.
