Gervonta Davis, Gary Russell Jr. Anchor Four-Fight Split-Site Event on Showtime

Showtime’s vigorous boxing plans continue to keep the sport in a good light as on May 20, the cable giant will telecast two sturdy boxing events live from two separate locations.

Gervonta Davis (17-0, 16 KOs), who is currently America’s youngest world champion, will travel to Britain to defend his IBF junior lightweight world title. Standing in his way is local fighter Liam Walsh (21-0, 14 KOs). The two will collide inside Copper Box Arena in London and the telecast will begin on Showtime at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

Across the pond will see Gary Russell Jr. (21-1, 16 KOs) defend his WBC featherweight throne versus Oscar Escandon (25-2, 17 KOs). The action will take place at MGM National Harbor in Baltimore, Md., as Russell will make the second defense of his WBC featherweight title in the process.

Rounding out the quadrupleheader in Maryland will be Andre Dirrell (25-2, 16 KOs) looking retain his WBC super welterweight strap against Jose Uzcategui (26-1, 22 KOs) while Rances Barthelemy (25-0, 16 KOs) will oppose Kiryl Relikh (21-1, 19 KOs) in a WBA super lightweight title eliminator.
