Glory 32 Lands in Virginia on July 22

Glory 32 “Virginia” will take place on July 22 inside the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., the promotion announced Tuesday. The event will be televised live on both ESPN3 and UFC Fight Pass.

Glory 32 will be anchored by a championship rematch, as featherweight titlist Serhiy Adamchuk (33-5, 14 KOs) will defend his crown against Gabriel Varga. The Ukrainian snatched the belt away from Varga (27-3, 8 KOs) via five-round decision at Glory 25 “Milan” in November and now the Canadian seeks vengeance.

Adamchuk defended his crown at Glory 28 “Paris” by out-pointing Mosab Amrani and then stepped up on last-minute notice at Glory 29 “Copenhagen” last month to fight Mohammed El Mir at lightweight. Adamchuk won a unanimous decision in an entertaining battle.

Meanwhile, Varga stayed active fighting for another promotion. The Toronto native rebounded from his loss by dominating Liu Wei in China and winning the Hero Legends featherweight crown in January.
