The HBO Boxing event on Saturday night (9:30 p.m. ET) will go on as planned at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

At Friday’s weigh-ins, former junior welterweight and current welterweight world champion Timothy Bradley easily made the 147-pound limit for his showdown with Brandon Rios. With the fight being for the “Desert Storm’s” WBO welter strap, Rios (34-2-1, 24 KOs) was under scrutiny as he came in heavy at 147.2 pounds on his first attempt. He later hit 147 even to put the stamp on HBO Boxing’s main event.

The evening’s co-featured fighters both hit their marks without a hitch. WBGO featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1, 2 KOs) easily made the 126-pound limit, coming in officially at 125.6. His counterpart, Romulo Koasicha (25-4, 15 KOs) came in at 125.6 as well.
