HBO will be the home to Saturday night’s junior welterweight world championship clash between WBO champ Terence Crawford and challenger Dierry Jean. The telecast will begin at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT, but the cable giant will re-air both the Roman Gonzalez-Brian Viloria and Gennady Golovkin-David Lemieux battles first before going live with Crawford-Jean.
On early Wednesday morning, the full undercard to the Crawford-Jean event was revealed:
Unbeaten heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr (25-0, 17 KOs) will take on Raphael Zumbano (37-11-1, 30 KOs) in an eight-rounder; welterweight Mikael Zewski (26-1, 20 KOs) will fight Ayi Bruce (23-11, 9 KOs) over 10 rounds; former IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich (19-1-1, 9 KOs) will lock horns with Aldimar Silva (19-8, 10 KOs) in an eight round affair; Alex Saucedo (18-0, 13 KOs) will meet Angel Martinez (12-7-1, 8 KOs) in a six round welterweight clash; Julian Rodriguez (10-0, 9 KOs) will face Alvaro Ortiz (7-4-1, 5 KOs) in a six round junior welterweight bout; junior middleweight Zsolt Daranyi Jr. (4-0, 4 KOs) will battle Sean Wilson (5-15-1, 1 KO) in a four-rounder; and Alfredo Martinez (4-0, 2 KOs) will go at it with Darin Hampton (1-1) in a four-round junior welterweight encounter.
