Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by Sherdog.com featured contributor and “Sherdog Rewind” host Jack Encarnacao.
Following up on a previous “Press Row” conversation, Breen and Encarnacao discuss the current climate surrounding testosterone replacement therapy and performance enhancing drugs in MMA. The pair look at how these processes might have been legitimized for many fighters by MMA's history, the growing interest in them amongst fighters, the public impact of Frank Mir's therapeutic use exemption and how the persona of Rich Franklin, who has admitted an interest in TRT, may prove an interesting case if he pursues an exemption.
