Josh Gross Joins Press Row

Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by ESPN's Josh Gross.

During a time of much debate about secrets and conspiracies in government, Breen and Gross take a look at some of the recent controversies in MMA and the public response to them. The two discuss the false narrative of Chris Weidman-Anderson Silva being a fixed fight, where the idea started and how it gained momentum, as well as critiquing the mainstream media outlets that enabled the discussion. Breen and Gross also take a look at T.J. Grant's concussion and withdrawal from his UFC 164 title bout with Benson Henderson and the bizarre series of events that led to Anthony Pettis fighting for lightweight supremacy in his hometown.

The duo also reflect on their favorite MMA conspiracy theories of all time, including Fedor Emelianenko throwing his bout against Fabricio Werdum, Sean Sherk's drug test debacle with the California State Athletic Commission and what really happened in Ken Shamrock's locker room before the infamous Seth Petruzelli-Kimbo Slice fight.

Grab your credential and get a seat in “Press Row.”
