Legacy Fighting Alliance heads back up to South Dakota as LFA 19 is set to invade Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls on Friday. Anchoring the event will be a welterweight showdown between contenders David Michaud and Ciro Rodrigues and, as expected, both men made weight at Thursday’s weigh-ins.

Rodrigues in a two-fight winning streak and has won seven of his last eight overall. The Brazilian last fought in May 2016 when he edged Edilberto de Oliveira in the 1° Round Combat promotion in his homeland but even with the lengthy gap between fights, “Bad Boy” came in at 170.8 pounds.

Michaud is also a winner of two straight. But he flip-flopped wins and losses in his previous six outings. The local fighter’s most recent wins came via third-round knockouts, with his last triumph coming against Jake Lindsey at LFA: Sioux Falls Fight Night 1 in April. “Bulldawg” weighed in just a few ounces lighter at 170.6 pounds.

The action will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
