Lion Fight, America’s leading Muay Thai promotion, will once again take over Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., on Friday night. Light Fight 36 will be headlined by Thai superstar Lerdsila PhuketTopTeam taking on late replacement Jacob Hebeisen in a lightweight showdown.

PhuketTopTeam was originally supposed to challenge Sergio Wielzen for the promotion’s lightweight championship, but Wielzen was removed from the card due to injury. In any event, the two featured fighters -- as well as the rest of the combatants on the marquee, cleared weight at Thursday’s official weigh-ins.

Hebeisen (7-4), who hails from Marietta, Ga., came in right on the money at 135 pounds. PhuketTopTeam (183-31-5), who boasts a mesmerizing 100-fight winning streak, came in a bit lighter at 133 pounds.

Light Fight 36 will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
