PBC on Bounce TV was a Ratings Success, Next Card Set for Sept. 18

According to Premier Boxing Champions and Bounce TV, the inaugural PBC: The Next Round telecast on Sunday was a success, with the live telecast reeling in an estimated 459,000 viewers. The live boxing card averaged 333,000 households between 9 p.m.-12:15 a.m.

The network revealed the event had a peak audience of 667,000 viewers and 444,000 households. Bounce TV aired an immediate encore of the event and the combined totals between the two telecasts pulled in over two million viewers.

The debut of PBC: The Next Round, which saw Juan Carlos Payano defend his bantamweight title by scoring a close decision over Rau’Shee Warren in the main event, also saw BounceTV.com usage rate increase by more than 300 percent.

The follow-up for PBC: The Next Round will air live on Sept. 18, but a location and lineup have yet to be revealed.
