Antonio, Texas. Headlined by a junior welterweight clash between
Darwin price and Javontae Starks, the PBC on NBCSN card should
provide a solid night of fistic fireworks.
At Friday’s weigh-ins, the main event combat both men were a little over the 140-pound weight limit, but it wasn’t enough to warrant any raised eyebrows or red flags. Starks (13-1, 7 KOs), who is coming off the first professional loss of his career, came in at 141.6 pounds. Price (10-0, 5 KOs) was slightly lighter on his feet; he weighed in at 141 pounds.
