Shine Fights II Card Postponed

By Mike Fridley Jul 14, 2009
Shine Fights has postponed its Aug. 1 Miami, Fla., event to Sept. 4, learned on Tuesday.

A press release sent by the organization cited “numerous television deals across the globe” as the reason for the postponement. Shine Fights CEO Devin Price and matchmaker Ron Foster informed on Tuesday afternoon that contracts have been inked with Canada’s Fight Network and South Florida’s Comcast On Demand. A “global” deal is to be announced shortly, declared Price.

The James L. Knight Center will host “American Top Team vs. The World,” which is headlined by a clash of UFC veterans pitting Roan Carneiro against Jorge “Macaco” Patino.
