One of four men to have held the World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight championship, Urijah Faber will celebrate his 35th birthday on May 14.

The Team Alpha Male founder remains one of MMA’s most recognizable faces and one of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s most marketable stars. Faber has secured 24 of his 30 career victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission and has never suffered consecutive defeats in more than a decade as a professional. “The California Kid” enjoyed a 13-fight winning streak between Oct. 29, 2005 and June 1, 2008, emerging as the poster boy for weight classes below 155 pounds. Wins over Michael McDonald, Brian Bowles, Eddie Wineland, Dominick Cruz and Bibiano Fernandes anchor his extensive resume.

Faber last fought at UFC 169 in February, when he succumbed to first-round punches from bantamweight champion Renan Barao at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The loss snapped his string of four straight victories.
