Tomasz Marciniak Joins Press Row

By Jordan Breen Oct 3, 2012

Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the blog. This week, Breen is joined by contributor and editor Tomasz Marciniak.

Following the UFC’s recent outing in Nottingham, England Breen and Marciniak take stock of the UFC’s international expansion plans, especially within Europe, and how they have changed in the past few years. The two examine how the UFC has succeeded and failed in the U.K., their successes in Sweden, potential new markets and how the Eurozone crisis could impact future plans for the promotion.

The two also consider what other international locales now make sense, how a dearth of basketball-sized arenas hurts Europe when attracting events like the UFC, Poland’s most popular MMA fighter and much more.

Grab your credential and get a seat in “Press Row.”
