If Anderson Silva meets his goal, he will retire from mixed martial arts undefeated in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Silva takes his next step in the UFC 153 main event, as he meets “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 1 finalist Stephan Bonnar on Saturday at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When the 37-year-old Brazilian enters the cage, he will do so with a perfect 15-0 record in the UFC in tow. Widely regarded as the premier pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Silva has not lost since he submitted to a Ryo Chonan flying scissor heel hook under the Pride Fighting Championships banner in December 2004.
