Zinedine Hameur-Lain Fills Final Tournament Spot on Glory 38 Card

Glory announced on Thursday that Zinedine Hameur-Lain has been added to the Glory 38 one-night four-man light heavyweight contender tournament. Hameur-Lain (56-14, 35 KOs), a former Glory tournament winner, will face Zack Mwekassa (15-4, 13 KOs).

Rounding out the other half of the bracket will be Danyo Illunga (57-10, 44 KOs) locking horns with Ariel Machado (43-8, 33 KOs).

Headlining the Glory 38 main card is the light heavyweight championship as Artem Vakhitov (17-5, 7 KOs) will defend his crown against Saulo Cavalari (60-4, 49 KOs). The co-feature will see Richard Abraham (11-3, 4 KOs) taking on fellow welterweight Antoine Pinto (130-36-1, 77 KOs).

The event takes place at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, just outside Chicago, and will air live on ESPN3 beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.

The Glory 38 SuperFight Series undercard is set to be anchored by a heavyweight clash between Benjamin Adegbuyi (27-4, 16 KOs) and Anderson “Braddock” Silva (40-15-1, 25 KOs). The co-headliner will also serve up heavyweights at Catalin “The Carpathian Death” Morosanu (42-10, 25 KOs) will take on Maurice Greene (4-3, 2 KOs), who replaces the injured Chi Lewis-Parry.

Filling in the rest of the undercard will be Murthel Groenhart (63-22-3, 36 KOs) against Thongchai (135-32, 46 KOs); Pawel Jedrzejczyk (21-7-1, 6 KOs) versus Daniel Morales; and Lukasz Plawecki (12-9, 5 KOs) taking on Niclas Larsen (40-7-1, 20 KOs).

The Glory 38 SuperFight Series undercard will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
