Jose Aldo has one more reason to defend his Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight crown against Anthony Pettis this summer.
Aldo is scheduled to put his 145-pound title on the line against the former World Extreme Cagefighting lightweight champion on Aug. 3. Should he emerge victorious, the Brazilian will receive an immediate title shot at 155 pounds, according to UFC President Dana White.
Anchored at the revered Nova Uniao camp, Aldo will carry a 15-fight winning streak into his next appearance.
