This week, readers weigh in on upcoming title fights and the future of Jon Fitch.

Sherdog, please breakdown the upcoming fight between featherweight champion Jose Aldo and challenger Urijah Faber. Can Faber push his scrambling game on such a well-rounded fighter?
-- James in Sac Town

Greg Savage, radio host and reporter: James, you have hit on the point I feel Faber will have to focus on if he has any hope of regaining the WEC featherweight championship belt.

If the “California Kid” wants to give himself the best chance to win this fight he will have to take it to the ground, and the scramble might just be his best opportunity to do so.

I’m not saying Faber doesn’t have the ability to hit a double on Aldo, but the champion did show tremendous takedown defense in defeating Mike Thomas Brown -- a much more physical grappler than Faber -- en route to winning the belt.

Either way, even if he does get it to the ground, it is far from over. Aldo is a BJJ black belt and should be competent on the floor, but I would venture he isn’t nearly as dangerous in that environment as he has proven to be blasting guys out on the feet.

I would not count Faber out in any aspect of the game, but he definitely has an uphill battle against a very formidable opponent. With the hometown crowd behind him I feel he has a pretty good shot at the upset if he can get this to the ground where he can put his vastly underrated submission skills to work.
