Fight 1 – Leo Sylvest vs Dave Vitkay (Quarterfinal LHW
Tourney)
The ring announcer 'The Master of Mayhem' Big Papa Schnake began the Freestyle Fighting Championships 10 by explaining that this tournament was to determine the number one contender in the Light Heavyweight Division.
Schnake used his contagious energy to liven up the 2900 in attendance at the Grand Casino Event center in Tunica, Mississippi. Schnake was not dressed like King Diamond.
The first fight of the the night begain with Vitkay taking down Sylvest. Sylvest worked a Kimura, and Vitkay blocked while pounding throughout the round. After a standup, Vitkay landed a head kick to end the round.
Vitkay took down Slyvest in the second round, passed his guard, and worked to mount. Leo Sylvest won the fight when Sylvest tapped out.
Fight 2 – Jason Braswell vs Jesse Ault (Quarterfinal LHW Tourney)
The second bout went the three round distance. Jason Braswell outpunched Jesse Ault on his feet throughout all three rounds. Ault pulled guard and worked from the ground to keep himself alive. Jason Braswell won by unanimous decision.
Fight 3 – Brandon McDowell vs Kevin Brooks (Quarterfinal LHW Tourney)
Kevin Brooks made quick work of Brandon McDowell in the third bout, by sprawling a shoot and pounding McDowell until the referee stopped the bout at 0:48 1R.
