Mike SloanMar 02, 2016

No one can deny the popularity of Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight titleholder Conor McGregor. He was scheduled to challenge lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 196, where a victory would have made him the first man in history to hold UFC belts in two weight classes simultaneously. However, dos Anjos withdrew from the event with a broken foot, leaving his spot to be filled by Nate Diaz. History will have to wait.

In celebration of MMA’s brightest star and perhaps the greatest trash talker in the history of combat sports, the latest installment in the Sherdog Top 10 series examines the signature moments in McGregor’s career. All have helped to define the “Notorious” Irishman.
