Mixed martial arts fancies itself a noble pursuit and for the most part holds true to such principles. However, there are times when the sport deviates from the script and takes shocking, gruesome and unsettling turns. Limbs have been broken, body parts severed and blood shed in horrifying happenings that cannot be unseen.
