Those who can take down opponents and beat them to a pulp hold a special place in the hearts of mixed martial arts fans. Damaging ground-and-pound requires the ideal amount of pressure, timing and balance. Fighters tend to get squirmy when the fists, forearms and elbows start flying, and the best of the best understand how to navigate the chaos to net the desired result.
