It has only been five years since Zuffa folded World Extreme Cagefighting into the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but for many MMA devotees, it feels like a lifetime.

There were many memorable fights “back in the day” in the WEC, and plenty of elite-level talent was produced by the promotion: Anthony Pettis, Benson Henderson, Urijah Faber, Jose Aldo, Demetrious Johnson and Dominick Cruz all passed through its doors, perfecting their craft in the Little Blue Cage. Whether the battles ended in decisions or slick submissions, the WEC always seemed to deliver terrific fight cards. World Extreme Cagefighting boasts its share of unforgettable knockouts, as well.

The latest installment in the Sherdog Top 10 series examines the greatest knockouts in WEC history.
