Its Super Bowl weekend and sports fans couldnt be happier. Not only do the Indianapolis Colts and my hometown Chicago Bears (who will win) go at it Sunday in Miami, the appetizer will be a talent-laden UFC pay-per-view card in Las Vegas.
Some fans could likely care less about Sundays clash because the real warriors take to the stage (or cage) Saturday night. With the additions of Rampage and Cro Cop the UFC has bolstered its ranks with two international superstars.
Lets just hope they fight as advertised and sidestep the disappointing performance of The Texas Crazy Horse.
The card opens with a grapplers duel between lightweights
Diego Saraiva (Pictures) and
Dustin Hazelett (Pictures). Then a strikers feast is on the menu as
Jorge Rivera (Pictures) meets
Terry Martin (Pictures). Its undefeated wrestler versus undefeated wrestler when
Tyson Griffin (Pictures) welcomes
Frank Edgar to the Octagon. A battle between TUF 1 veteran
Sam Hoger (Pictures) and undefeated import
Ryoto Machida (Pictures) rounds out the dark bouts.
