UFC 95 has been in the books for a little more than a week, and UFC 96 -- with main characters Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Keith Jardine -- has already begun to cast its shadow. Sandwiched in between sits WEC 39 “Brown vs. Garcia,” as the sister promotion makes its debut in the Lone Star State and hits the Bank America Center this Sunday in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Featherweight champion Mike Thomas Brown’s first title defense against local hero Leonard Garcia will headline the main card, but the dark matches offer some familiar names to those following the international mixed martial arts scene, as well. Two-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Marcos Galvao, K-1 veteran Damacio Page and “The Ultimate Fighter” season one product Alex Karalexis are booked to fight, among others.
