The 6-foot-2 Beach trains out of the same Alliance MMA gym that spawned reigning UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. Anchored by an extensive amateur boxing career, he put away Roscoe Jackson under the Bellator Fighting Championships banner in October, when he submitted the journeyman with a first-round rear-naked choke at Bellator 55. Beach has also spent time as an MMA instructor at a Team Nogueira branch in San Diego.
