A volunteer firefighter who splits his training time between Team Khunpon and Roberto Traven Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thompson has submitted four of his five opponents inside one round. Based in Marietta, Ga., the 24-year-old last appeared in September, when he submitted Chidi Njokuani, the younger brother of current World Extreme Cagefighting lightweight contender Anthony Njokuani, with a first-round keylock in Atlanta.
