At a Glance: 2023 PFL Playoffs

Brian KnappJun 27, 2023

Professional Fighters League executives can exhale now that their 2023 regular season has run its course. Soon, however, the playoffs beckon.

Twenty-four mixed martial artists across six weight classes have qualified for the postseason, which begins on Aug. 4 (featherweights/light heavyweights) in San Antonio before continuing on Aug. 18 (heavyweights/women’s featherweights) and Aug. 23 (welterweights/lightweights) in New York. A date for the 2023 PFL Championships has not yet been made official. The promotion awards a $1 million check to the winner of each weight class. Three entrants—Olivier Aubin-Mercier at lightweight, Sadibou Sy at welterweight and Larissa Pacheco at women’s featherweight—remain alive to repeat as PFL champions.
