By The Numbers: Anatoliy Malykhin
It took Anatoliy Malykhin less than two years to reach the One Championship summit in two weight classes. Life could not be much better for the hulking 5-foot-11 Russian.
Malykhin, his record now a pristine 11-0, will enter his 2023 campaign as the undisputed ONE light heavyweight champion and the interim ONE heavyweight titleholder. He last appeared at ONE on Prime Video 5, where he bludgeoned the unbeaten Reinier de Ridder with punches and laid claim to the light heavyweight crown with a first-round technical knockout on Dec. 2. So thorough was the rout that it was named Sherdog’s “Beatdown of the Year” for 2022.
