Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki returns to action with KSW 91, which will take place on Feb. 17 at Home Credit Arena in Liberec, Czech Republic. The show streams live to kswtv.com pay-per-view at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

KSW’s lightweight division will have a freshly-minted lightweight champion, even if only an interim one. The fight to determine who will hold the lightweight crown will unfold when Valeriu Mircea and Leo Brichta face off against each other.

Mircea kicked off his career under the banner of the premier European organization with a defeat against the former two-division title challenger Roman Szymanski, and then impressed with comeback victories against Gracjan Szadzinski and Borys Mankowski. He eventually got a chance for a rematch with Szymanski at KSW83 and passed the test with a split decision distinction, earning himself a fight for the interim title.

Meanwhile, young Czech Brichta has stood tall among giants in the organization with a solid debut in the Polish capital with a split-decision victory over Maciej Kazieczko. In October 2023, he defeated Szymanski and earned his stripe with four KSW awards. He won KSW Fighter of the Year, International Fighter of the Year, Rookie of the Year and at the same time the fight against Szymanski was chosen as KSW Fight of the Year.
