Legacy Fighting Alliance keeps chugging along as the newly-former promotion is already on its fifth event since the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy Fighting Championship merged. Headlining LFA 5 is a lightweight battle between Marcus Edwards and Adam Townsend and, as expected, both men made weight on Thursday.

Townsend has been on a tear lately, having won two in a row and 10 of 11 overall. “Prime Time” is coming of a first-round TKO of longtime veteran Junior Assuncao in July and the former RFA veteran is ready to get his LFA career underway; Townsend came in at 155.8 pounds.

Edwards has been a roll as well. “Bad Intentions” has also won his last two bouts and four of five. He’s lost to only to top-flight opposition in his pro career, having been bested by the likes of Justin Gaethje, Efrain Escudero, Shane Campbell and Pat Healy. At the scale, Edwards also weighed in at 155.8 pounds.

LFA 5 will be televised live on AXS TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
