The Walkmen: UFC 210 ‘Cormier vs. Johnson 2’

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday took over the city of Buffalo, New York, with UFC 210 and a main-event rematch pitting light heavyweight titleholder Daniel Cormier against Anthony Johnson. Diverse musical tastes were once again on the menu.

Cormier opted to go with a one-two punch of LL Cool J’s “Mama Said Knock You Out” and Drake’s “Right Above It” ahead of his second encounter with “Rumble.” Young Money’s “Moment” accompanied Johnson to the Octagon, as he attempted to knock the American Kickboxing Academy standout from his perch. Meanwhile, Chris Weidman went with his customary track -- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “I Won’t Back Down” -- in advance of his co-headliner with former Dream, Strikeforce and Cage Warriors Fighting Championship titlist Gegard Mousasi. Artsakh’s “Ara Gevorgyan” brought Mousasi to the cage.

Other standout choices from UFC 210 “Cormier vs. Johnson 2” included the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Juicy” (Pearl Gonzalez), Eminem’s “Cinderella Man” (Patrick Cote), James Brown’s “This is a Man’s World” (Mike de la Torre), Johnny Cash’s “Ain’t No Grave” (Gregor Gillespie), Red Café’s “I’m Ill” (Will Brooks), Jen Titus’ “O’ Death” (Sean Strickland), MGK’s “Invincible” (Shane Burgos), Grimes’ “Oblivion” (Patrick Cummins), Future’s “Last Breath” (Desmond Green), Kanye West’s “All of the Lights” (Katlyn Chookagian) and the Black Eyed Peas’ “Bebot” (Jenel Lausa).
