The UFC has announced that undefeated middleweight Rob Yundt will step onto the UFC 81
card to face Ricardo
Almeida (Pictures) in place of Alan Belcher (Pictures).
Belcher was forced from the injury-riddled card due to a severe case of bronchitis.
Yundt has stopped five opponents en route to a perfect 6-0 professional record. The Alaskan follows in the footsteps of fellow Wolf Pack teammates Doug Evans (Pictures) and Scott MacAfee, who made their debuts in the Zuffa-owned UFC and WEC last year.
Almeida, 31, will be seeing his first action in almost four years. A former King of Pancrase, the Renzo Gracie (Pictures) pupil retired in 2004 to focus on his family, and BJJ academy, before announcing his return to the sport last year.
