Unbeaten South Korean middleweight Dongi Yang will make his promotional debut against “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 11 cast member Chris Camozzi in a preliminary matchup at UFC 121 “Lesnar vs. Velasquez” on Oct. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Ten fights are now official for the event, which will air live on pay-per-view.

Yang -- a member of the same Korean Top Team that spawned World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight Chan Sung Jung -- has finished all nine of his opponents as a professional, five of them inside one round. The 27-year-old last appeared in May, when he needed just 67 seconds to dispatch Bill Suares under the Trench Warz banner. Wins over 1996 Olympic gold medalist Pawel Nastula and Sengoku Raiden Championships veteran Chang Seob Lee anchor Yang’s resume.

Camozzi will carry a three-fight winning streak into the match. The 23-year-old Alameda, Calif., native has not fought since he defeated James Hammortree by unanimous decision at “The Ultimate Fighter 11” Finale in June. Camozzi has delivered nine of his 13 career victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission. In 16 professional appearances, he has never been knocked out.

A heavyweight title bout between champion Brock Lesnar and unbeaten challenger Cain Velasquez will headline UFC 121, along with a pivotal welterweight showdown between former Strikeforce titleholder Jake Shields and the world-ranked Martin Kampmann. The event will also feature a light heavyweight tilt pairing Tito Ortiz with Matt Hamill and a heavyweight matchup pitting “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 10 finalist Brendan Schaub against Gabriel Gonzaga.
