Warrior Nation Series to Debut on MSNBC Tonight
A four-part series chronicling the sport of mixed martial arts is
set to debut tonight on cable news channel MSNBC. The initial
episode — featuring WEC champ Urijah Faber (Pictures) and Enoch Wilson (Pictures) — will air back-to-back at 10 and
11 p.m. ET.
According to MSNBC Vice President Michael Rubin, “‘Warrior Nation’ is not just about fighting, it’s about a quickly growing American phenomenon; the millions of fans and tens of thousands of young athletes who gravitate to the new sport, hoping to springboard from obscurity to celebrity, using the most basic of tools — their bodies and fists.”
The four-part series will continue to air on Tuesdays throughout the month of January. MSNBC reaches 85 million US households and is a collaborative enterprise between NBC and Microsoft.
