M-1 Global officially announced Wednesday a trio of bouts, including two title fights, for its M-1 Challenge 24 “Damkovsky vs. Figueroa” card, which takes place March 25 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.

As reported last week by Sherdog.com, the event will mark M-1’s debut outing on Showtime.

The American premium cable channel has reportedly agreed to air four shows from the Russian-based promotion in 2011, with subsequent events slated for July, October and December. Longtime commentator Mauro Ranallo and former UFC welterweight champion Pat Miletich will provide play-by-play and commentary for the March broadcast.

In the show’s titular headliner, M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Artiom Damkovsky will put his belt on the line against Jose Figueroa, winner of the 2010 M-1 Selection Americas lightweight tournament. The promotion’s vacant 185-pound strap will also be up for grabs when last year’s M-1 Selection Eastern Europe middleweight bracket champion, Magomed Sultanakhmedov, goes up against American counterpart Tyson Jeffries.

Also announced was a lightweight match-up between unbeaten Russian prospect Alexander Sarnavskiy and Florida-based “Iron Heart” Josh Bacallao. In addition, recent M-1 signee and “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 light heavyweight runner-up Vinny Magalhaes will square off against an unnamed opponent.
