Court McGee will return to UFC competition for the first time since December 2013 when he faces Marcio Alexandre Jr. on Dec. 12.

Promotion officials announced the bout, which is part of the UFC 194 lineup, on Thursday. UFC 194 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by a featherweight title unification bout between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor. Chris Weidman will defend his 185-pound strap against Luke Rockhold in the co-main event.

McGee hasn’t fought since UFC on Fox 9, where he dropped a unanimous decision against Ryan LaFlare. “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner is 5-3 in the Las Vegas-based promotion, including victories over Josh Neer and Robert Whittaker.

Alexandre, meanwhile, is still searching for his first UFC triumph. He fell to Warlley Alves at the “TUF: Brazil 3” finale in his debut before losing to Tim Means via split decision in his most recent outing this past December.
