Akhmedov Replaces Injured Jouban, Faces Ebersole at UFC Fight Night in New Orleans

An elbow injury has forced Alan Jouban out of his scheduled welterweight matchup with Brian Ebersole at UFC Fight Night "Cormier vs. Bader."
Omari Akhmedov will replace Jouban at the June 6 event. Promotion officials announced the change on Thursday night. UFC Fight Night takes place at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader.
Akhmedov has won 12 of his last 13 bouts, including a three-round verdict against Mats Nilsson in his last fight at UFC 182.
A 68-fight veteran, Ebersole was victorious in his most recent Octagon appearance, as he took a split decision over John Howard at UFC 178 last September.
