Albert Morales to Face Newcomer Manny Bermudez at UFC on Fox 28 in Orlando

Albert Morales will welcome Manny Bermudez to the Octagon at UFC on Fox 28.

Promotion officials announced the bantamweight pairing on Monday. UFC on Fox 28 takes place at the Amway Center in Orlando on Feb. 24 and is headlined by a featherweight tilt pitting Jeremy Stephens against Josh Emmett. The evening’s main card airs on the Fox Network, with prelims appearing on Fox and UFC Fight Pass.

Morales has compiled a 1-3-1 mark in five Octagon appearances. Most recently, “The Warrior” dropped a three-round verdict against Benito Lopez at UFC Fight Night 123 on Dec. 9. The Californian’s lone promotional triumph came via split decision against Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 209.

A native of Abington, Mass., Bermudez will enter his UFC debut with a 10-0 record. Bermudez has competed nearly exclusively for the Cage Titans FC promotion during his career and has finished all but two of his wins inside of a round.
