Tumenov had a five-fight Octagon winning streak snapped at UFC Fight Night “Overeem vs. Arlovski,” where he was submitted in the second round by Gunnar Nelson. The 24-year-old Russian owns notable wins over Lorenz Larkin and Alan Jouban in UFC competition and is 17-3 as a professional overall.
A native of England, Edwards has won three of his last four promotional appearances. Most recently, he took a unanimous verdict over Dominic Waters on May 8. His UFC stint also includes an eight-second knockout victory against Seth Baczynski in April 2015.
