Alex Reyes will replace Thiago Alves on three days’ notice and face Mike Perry at UFC Fight Night 116.
Perry announced the new opponent via Twitter on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 116 takes place at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and is headlined by a middleweight clash pitting Luke Rockhold against David Branch.

After losing his first two pro bouts, Reyes has won 12 consecutive fights. The 30-year-old Hollywood, Calif., native is a King of the Cage titlist and has finished all of his victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
Perry last appeared at UFC Fight Night 108, where he knocked out Jake Ellenberger with a brutal standing elbow 1:05 into the second round. “Platinum” also owns stoppage victories over Danny Roberts and Hyun Gyu Lim in UFC competition.
